Micro-Wedding FAQ
Choose your queestion below to see the answer.
A micro-wedding is a small, intimate wedding with fewer guests than a traditional wedding, usually 50 or less. Micro-weddings typically include the same traditional activities as a larger wedding, such as the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner. Micro-weddings are often more relaxed than traditional weddings, and can include close family and friends.
The average budget of a couple getting married at Thee Pasfield House is $8000-10,000 for all wedding expenses (venue, food, dress, dj, photographer, floral, etc.) This means you can have a smaller budget (with a cocktail menu, non-premium dates, cash bar, great use of natural beauty and decor included in the house) or a larger budget (with gourmet table service, amazing florals, or a well-known photographer) or anything in between for your micro-wedding.

The definition of “day-of wedding coordinator” may mean something different to you than it does to us, and we do not want the opportunity for miscommunication on your special day. A $1000 deposit is required to hold the date when the contract is signed. You can create your own payment plan using smaller, partial payments of any amount prior to the specified due date. Most often, we set up monthly payments starting 6 months prior to your event. Full payment is typically due at least 1 week before your event. We also reserve the right to request a credit card on file for any damages to the facility or the grounds.
No. We would like your food and drink options to be as elegant or affordable as your budget allows.
Yes, but please see the question and answer above. We believe that quality food and quality experience is important. Although outside catering seems like a great idea, there’s too many variables out of our hands. What if they don’t bring XYZ? What if they don’t send any staff? What if they show up late? What if they run out of food? We would rather avoid a bad experience for you and your guests. We are personally invested in the success of your wedding day.
Our liquor license does not allow outside alcohol on the event floor. We can provide alcohol and food for you as you’re getting ready, see our menu HERE. We have a strict policy on this, with a $250 fee if outside alcohol is found on event floor.
You’ll get all the china, glassware, gold chargers, silverware, and snazzy Pasfield branded paper napkins you need.
We can set up buffet style, family style, tray-passed appetizers, and plated dinner.
We require catering decisions and catering deposit be made a minimum of 1 month before wedding date. This allows us time to make sure we can source the food and beverages you request. We will reach out to you if no decision has been made yet.
